"To give everyone the best ride of their life." that's the idea behind Body Geometry FIT and what we are aiming for at CycleTime.

Our customers have been asking for it and now we can deliver the goods. CycleTime owners Dave Spring and Julie Paterson have recently completed the SBCU Body Geometry FIT course in Melbourne and the customer response has been phenomenal.

Our goal is to get our customers riding faster, longer, and in greater comfort while reducing chances of injury. The Body Geometry FIT program is the most comprehensive bike fit education in the industry. Working with Dr. Andy Pruitt and his team at the Boulder Center for Sports Medicine, the BG FIT process has been refined into a step by step fit method to deliver personal, hands on bike fit to help cyclists ride longer, faster and in greater comfort.

1. Pre-Fit Interview

Every fit - whether it's for a novice or experienced cyclist - starts with a brief interview between our Body Geometry FIT staff member and rider that addresses the individual's injury history, needs and goals.

2. Flexibility Assignment

This evaluation gains an accurate picture of the individual's flexibility and other physical attributes, including assessment of foot structure, knee position, spinal curve, shoulder extension, hip flexion and leg length, among others.

3. Side View

Assessed using the side view of the rider, the goal is to deliver a correct neutral position that's both powerful and comfortable through adjustments to seat height, handlebar height, stem length and cleat position.

4. Front View

Analysis from frontal view to optimize hip, knee and foot alignment for greater performance and balanced power delivery. Includes analysis of pedal and shoe placement and squareness on the saddle.

5. Follow Up

After a week or so, the technician calls to discuss the effectiveness of the adjustments and to answer any other questions or concerns the rider may have.

Developed with ergonomics expert Dr. Roger Minkow, M.D., BG saddles and shorts use customized shapes, cut-aways and multi-density padding to reduce pressure on arteries and soft tissue for improved blood flow and comfort. The anatomically designed Body Geometry cut-out or groove takes pressure off arteries and soft tissue for improved blood flow and comfort. Pressure mapping research helps us determine areas of high/low pressure so we can optimize the design of each saddle. Since a properly sized saddle increases your comfort and power on the bike, Body Geometry saddles come in a range of widths to fit every rider. We design the shape of every saddle to complement the way you ride. Based on your position and preferences, you can find your match from a variety of flat, curved, and comfort saddles.


Medically tested Body Geometry footbeds were co-developed with Andy Pruitt, Director of the Boulder Center for Sports Medicine, to enable a semi-custom fit that improves efficiency, increases comfort and reduces potential injury. Built-in varus angulation improves pedaling alignment for greater power and endurance. Also prevents knee pressure and strain. Built-in arch support and metatarsal button eliminate hot spots and numbness and helps maximize your power transfer with proper arch support. Three distinct levels of arch and metatarsal support help you customize your fit.
